    I love this authentic deli! There is a little seating area inside. At least 5 or 6 booths. He has delicious salads potato coleslaw etc. it closes at 2;30 . It's owned by Burt He is friendly and cracks jokes numerous . He gave a good portion of meat and pickles . My Corned beef was so perfect My daughter's turkey was delicious too . It has a parking lot so it's easy to park. Not sure if there used to be a public restroom. He has some bakery items and chips . So good

    OMG - I finally made it over to Burt's about 2:15pm today. I had tried a couple times before but, as I found out today, they close at 2:30, not 3pm as indicated here and other places online. I had a brief conversation with the friendly counter man. He asked me where I am from - which is originally Rogers Park in Chicago, but Highland Park for the last 35 years. He told me that being from rogers Park, I would love my corned beef on rye and .... was he ever right! I was transported back to 1970 with the first bite. I will definitely be back.

    Bert's a hoot and yes, the Sammie's are UNREAL. Unquestionably the best corned beef/pastrami outside of NYC

    Small place closes early the meat is quality! Get the Yummy sandwich worth every penny
